LopLop is a Montreal-based software programming company that combines interactivity, augmented reality, and fragmented reality. Since 2018, LopLop has been dedicated to landscape modeling, design, and animation of plant worlds to generate creative and interactive experiences. A compelling example is the Jardin app created for the Montreal Botanical Garden, which allows users to navigate through the seasons and the diversity of plants in the Japanese Garden.
During his artistic experimentation and business development residency at TOPO, LopLop presented his digital tools for creating animated and interactive landscapes from his Natur programming platform. It was a unique opportunity to discuss possible uses for these digital tools in other contexts.
LopLop was supported by the Canada Media Fund (CMF).
LopLop participated in the Deep Dive support program run by La Piscine, an accelerator for the cultural and creative economy in Quebec.
