Vilanova is a multimedia project created as a continuation of the Tour de Villeneuve event organized by the Fovea collective of photographers and presented as part of Montreal Photo Month in September 2001. Tour de Villeneuve featured a series of artistic interventions in 13 businesses and outdoor spaces in the Villeneuve quadrangle, between Saint-Laurent and Saint-Urbain streets in Montreal.

The VILANOVA website revisits the brief history of artworks and shops and offers a reflection on the notion of archiving and transforming ephemeral interventions in shops on the web. The urban journey becomes a virtual itinerary through thirteen multimedia tableaux addressing different aspects of universal questions about the body, identity, memory, and time.
