Bêta-cité is an interactive audiovisual mapping project on the web. The site enables the creation of audio-guided urban itineraries, which users can design and experience in two Montreal neighborhoods, in the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce and Saint-Laurent boroughs.

Bêta-cité offers a space for interpretation, discovery, experimentation and composition on the Internet. Visitors will be able to create their own audio-guided tours using a bank of sounds, atmospheres, short narrative sequences and virtual instruments.
