The event will be held entirely online.<\/p><p>The 2021 edition offers a reflection on three open-ended, but not limited, aspects of the theme.\u00a0<strong>Around borders: between crossings, boundaries, and exchanges<\/strong>This subject, which has been explored by many disciplines and from different angles throughout history, reflects the conference's openness to multidisciplinarity.<\/p><p>Our panel, moderated by\u00a0<strong>Eva Quintas<\/strong>, co-founder of TOPO, presents the FRONTI\u00c8RE program through its three exhibition cycles, each associated with three authors:\u00a0<strong>Nuria Carton de Grammont<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Paule Mackrous<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Mirna Boyadjian<\/strong>. The 10 participating artists, drawn from the diversity of the Americas, address themes such as the rediscovery of roots and heritage; technologies and their ability to blur the boundaries between documentary and fiction, the living and the non-living; and the relationships between geography and sociopolitics, which question power relations in space in various ways.
