{"id":4738,"date":"2022-08-05T15:56:00","date_gmt":"2022-08-05T19:56:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/topo.art\/chantier\/?p=4738"},"modified":"2024-06-05T16:03:14","modified_gmt":"2024-06-05T20:03:14","slug":"aga-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/topo.art\/en\/aga-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"Annual General Meeting (AGA) 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<div data-elementor-type=\"wp-post\" data-elementor-id=\"4738\" class=\"elementor elementor-4738\" data-elementor-post-type=\"post\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e47ea9f e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"e47ea9f\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e192fff elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"e192fff\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>We were pleased to invite you to the TOPO Annual General Meeting (AGM), which took place on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at 5:30 p.m. The AGM is a meeting place where the organization's members are presented with a review of activities, the activity plan for the coming year, and the issues that will guide our present and future actions.<\/strong><\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/editorprod.s3.amazonaws.com\/images\/__746304\/TOPO_convocation_AGA_31aout2022.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Meeting notice and agenda (PDF in french)<\/a><\/p><p>The previous year (2021-2022) had once again confronted us with program changes due to the pandemic, but we were able to combine a mix of in-person and virtual events, both for artistic programming and training.<\/p><p>An important part of our program was undoubtedly the forum.\u00a0<strong><em>MUTATIONS :: Le livre \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e8re num\u00e9rique<\/em><\/strong>, a program of 24 webinars that you can still view online at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/mutationsdulivre.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">mutationsdulivre.ca<\/a><strong>.\u00a0<\/strong>In September 2021, we were finally able to organize the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.agencetopo.qc.ca\/wp\/events\/event\/mesmotsdanslarue\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">balades po\u00e9tiques\u00a0<\/a>with the Toxique Trottoir troupe, in Rosemont, with the project\u00a0<strong><em>Mes mots, mon quartier :\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mesmots.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">mesmots.ca<\/a>Several window display projects have been adapted for the internet, with undeniable success in terms of reach. Finally, our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/topo.art\/en\/formations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">workshops<\/a>\u00a0in virtual mode worked very well, notably reaching customers outside Montreal.<\/p><p>At the close of the AGA, we invited the company\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.loplop.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LopLop<\/a>, which presented its digital tools for creating animated and interactive landscapes, as well as its window display, where a million works were destroyed, one every second, a ruthless metaphor for obsolescence.<\/p><p>Please note that Wednesday, August 24 (7 days before the AGM) is the deadline for submitting nominations for the three open positions on the Board of Directors.
